Your Title: Partner Technical Enablement Specialist
Job Location: Remote, US (Up to 25% Travel)
Our Division: Trimble Owner & Public Sector (O&PS), which is part of the larger Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owner (AECO) business operations segment.
What You Will Do
We’re looking for someone with strong technical know-how, especially in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM),
Permitting, Digital Project Delivery (DPD), and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), who also has a high
level of business acumen, hands-on experience, and collaborative skills. You’ll use these skills to help both new
partners and seasoned users develop best practices for implementing our asset lifecycle management platform
and developing integrations to realize their vision and drive toward their organization’s goals. You’ll become a
partner’s trusted advisor at Trimble, while also interfacing with Trimble staff and other technology partners.
The successful candidate will support Trimble’s initiative to develop and maintain strategies with current and
high potential business partners. This position rolls up to the Director of Partnerships & Alliances and will report
to the Technology and Development Partner Advisor on an ongoing basis, communicating all relevant matters
pertaining to business partners, targeting and recruitment, technical planning, sales, marketing and partner
technical service issues and opportunities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
● Provide technical enablement for the Trimble Owner & Public Sector Partner Community – functioning
as both a technical expert and a strategic business consultant in helping them find greater value with
their Trimble Partnership
● Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for partners; provide proactive advice on relevant
technology strategies, architectures, best practices, product selection, and release planning
● Understand the vision and drivers for how Trimble’s technology integrates/interfaces with partners'
solutions
● Maintain in-depth knowledge of Trimble, Esri, and partner products and integrations, services and
related information
● Address incoming support from partners to ensure best fit solutions that align with Trimble + Esri best
practices using internally defined resources and references
● Prevent issues before they arise with proactive support, regularly scheduled technical reviews, training
and certification along with relevant documentation and resources for the Partner Community
● Collaborate internally with other Trimble teams (Product, Engineering, Education Services,
Documentation, etc. ) to help partner organizations align their technical objectives and business goals
with Trimble’s and Esri’s technology platforms
● Support annual partner technical planning meetings, prepare and present high-quality business and
technically-related documentation – presentations, documents, spreadsheets, etc.
● Assist with product information inquiries, and benchmark requirements with a sense of urgency and
accuracy

● Maintain records of interactions and activities with internal and external groups, recording details of
inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken
● Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel at all levels representing the company in a
professional manner at all times
● Participate co-operatively as an employee within the company
● Actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the
purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies
within all departments across the company
● Conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required in a timely and
professional manner
What Skills and Experience You Should Bring
● Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems CIS), Computer Science (CS), Information Technology,
Geography, GIS, Engineering, or related field
● 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, administrating and/or supporting enterprise
solutions/systems that leverage Trimble and the ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and
ArcGIS Online)
● 3+ years of project, customer, and/or technical management experience
● Demonstrable ability to evaluate and translate a partner’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into
technical plans and solutions
● SaaS software configuration experience and integration understanding
● Strong understanding of data formats (HTML, XML, JSON, etc.), data transformation techniques, and
manipulations using JavaScript
● Experience with integration technologies, such as Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), web
services (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and low-to-no-code integration and automation platforms (FME,
Power Platform, etc.)
● Ability to effectively present and communicate information to strategic business partners, customers,
key stakeholders, and company management
● Experience with SaaS software testing strategies, conditions and evaluation of expected results
● General understanding of other enterprise and SaaS systems (Financial, Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP), Customer Information System (CIS) a & Utility Billing, e-Plan Review, 311, 811, CCTV, etc.

● Strong Relational Database background and SQL Skills
● Proficient experience with G Suite and web technologies
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for system integration
