CONTEXT
The role & the team
We are looking for a Partner Solution Engineer to join our Tech Partnerships team. The Tech Partnerships Team is part of the Connectivity Track within the Product department and aims to enhance customer and prospect experiences through integrations with other software platforms.
Our objective is to remain the most interconnected software in the market, as of today, we are proud to offer around 300 integrations with various software across multiple industries.
And this is just part of the ecosystem, with the E-invoicing (Réforme de la facture électronique) roll out happening in 2026, we are doubling down on our partnerships with ERP and other invoicing softwares.
In this context, the Partner Solution Engineer plays a crucial role in helping us expand our connectivity with key softwares in the market and working hand in hand with our Tech partnerships and product team members.
This position combines technical and partners facing skills: the ability to guide partners & customers in understanding and implementing our technical solutions (APIs, features, product roadmap), along with strong communication capabilities to develop lasting partnerships.
MISSION
Key responsibilities & missions
- Analyze the needs of partners and provide effective technical solutions
- Ensure that developments meet users expectations
- Act as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders (partnerships, product, sales teams…)
- Build and maintain solid tech-relationships with partners
- Impact and improve the revenue generated from the ISV partners (ability to market the API, Pennylane features to partners building their integration with us)
- Monitor projects and ensure progress towards a go-live within a defined timeframe
- Gather and share partners qualitative feedback with the product team to improve our product and/or our APIs
- Identify key uses cases and best practices and work with our API teams to display valuable documentation and help our team to scale.
- Be creative, enhance our API documentation, create content towards developers and techs (dev toolkit, guidelines etc.)
PROFILE
Technical requirements
Strong experience in API integration and strong understanding of API standards (REST, OAuth 2.0, OpenAPI)
Knowledge of software design and architecture
SQL & Datadog: Log analysis + database analysis
Appetite for no code/ low code softwares (Zapier, Make,etc)
Nice to have: experience in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
Required soft skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in Tech support, Solution Engineer, Tech pre-sales
Strong communication skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience & appetite in client relationship management
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Autonomous & agility: not afraid of to deal with multiple projects/ demands/requests at ones.
Collaboration: ability to navigate through multiple squads and departments.
