You will be joining the APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America) Partner Retail Marketing team, developing consumer retail (in-store and digital) plans and execution across APLA’s marketplace. APLA is a dynamic geography with a diverse mix of countries, cultures, and marketplace nuances across both global and territory accounts.

This job posting supports opportunities for three partner retail marketing roles across multiple sport and lifestyle categories — including Running, Training, ACG, and key Sport disciplines (e.g., Global Football, Basketball, and other relevant sport communities).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a dynamic, action-oriented retail marketer who thrives in ambiguity and excels at storytelling through partners. This person elevates the marketplace through experimentation, new ideas, and a strong consumer mindset. They rebuild brand distinction, create space for elevated experiences, and fuel growing sport and lifestyle communities across APLA.

You’re comfortable navigating conversations with external partners (agencies, retailers) and internal cross-functional teams, and can communicate clearly across a diverse organization.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As the Partner Marketing Lead, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing retail elevation strategies for Nike within partner retail doors across multiple categories. You will:

Retail Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and develop retail marketing strategies and execution for the APLA marketplace across key categories (Running/Training, ACG, Sport).

  • Align category strategies to APLA Sport & Lifestyle Priorities, category goals, and territory needs.

  • Adapt and apply retail excellence principles to win with seasonal and seasonless initiatives.

Cross-Functional Direction

  • Deliver clear guidance to agency and territory partners to execute Global and Regional directives.

  • Maintain brand standards across marketplace partners including Sporting Goods, Athletic Specialty, Department Stores, and Sport Specialty.

  • Become the retail expert with partners — ideating and creating consumer-right experiences across diverse retail environments.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Foster a test & learn approach with Territory, Sport, Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, EKIN, Sales, and Operations.

  • Partner with Nike Direct Retail Marketing to drive a “One Marketplace” approach while maintaining category distinction.

  • Drive an insights-led, results-oriented approach with a focus on the right KPIs and measurable outcomes.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll work across a highly collaborative matrix including:

  • APLA Retail Marketing: Partnership Transformation, Visual Merchandising, EKINs, and Operations

  • APLA Territory Retail Marketing partners

  • APLA Brand Marketing: Running/Training, ACG, Global Football, Basketball, Sport

  • APLA Sales & Sport GMs: Merchandising, Business Integration, Marketplace Supply Chain

  • Global Retail Marketing

  • Cross-functional partner teams: Retail planning, merchandising, e-commerce, and agencies

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • 6+ years of retail experience

  • Mid-large fleet, marketplace partner experience

  • A people-first approach that values diverse thought

  • A track record of implementing a test-and-learn offense

  • Pre-emptive problem-solving with the ability to assess issues and develop action plans

  • Ability to work as part of a matrix and collaborate cross-functionally toward a shared goal

  • Shown ability to adapt to changing business needs or direction

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
