REQ13903 Partner, Human Resources (Open Date: 15/01/2026)
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position primarily acts as a business partner to House of Dancing Water functions and communicates closely with colleagues to ensure colleague engagement is achieved. The HR Partner provides generalist HR advice and services to their client group through identification of HR issues and needs in delivering the business plan, acting as a conduit of information and HR direction from the functional heads within the HR team, and provision of day-to-day support to the client groups. HR Partner will also assist in providing recruitment, L&D and other HR related services to departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the implementation of human resource strategies, initiatives and programs into the daily operations of the departments covering such areas as performance management, reward and recognition, diversity management and other areas which compliment departmental business objectives.
- Oversee and actively participate in the recruitment, selection and training of appropriate colleagues to meet the requirements of the departments.
- Provide career advice and counselling to colleagues as required.
- Provide advice to departments' management and colleagues regarding colleague relations issues to assist in the achievement of effective outcomes.
- Review and monitor Human Resources K.P.I.'s (e.g. colleague absenteeism and turnover, annual leave accruals, etc.) for the departments and initiate appropriate action in relation to K.P.I. trends.
- Adhere to COD's health and safety requirements.
- Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of all colleagues is valued.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- At least 5 years Human Resources experience in a HR role
- Proven work experience in Hospitality, Entertainment or Integrated Resort preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or Business Administration
- Certificate in Human Resources or Hospitality Management is an advantage
Skills / Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, Mandarin and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills required
- Excellent analytical and counselling skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight timeline
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Good understanding of Macau Labor Law and human resources functions
- Must be able to work long hours, evenings and weekends
- Attention to details and meeting timeline is a must
