Who You Will Work With:
Reporting to the Leader, Participant Regulation, this vacant role will support the management and co-ordination of client enrollment and committee engagement activities. You will be responsible for distributing notices, presentation materials and legal agreements to Clients on behalf of Interac. You’ll engage and correspond with clients and various internal teams including Legal, Compliance, Client Solutions and Product. This is a key internal and external facing role within the Legal, Compliance and Regulations team.
What You Will Do:
Lead the client enrolment process by assembling onboarding packages, responding to inquiries, and drafting correspondence for Interac’s Products and Services
Conduct preliminary reviews for client application packages and providing recommendations to management
Provide interpretations and responding to onboarding-related inquiries for all of Interac’s Products and Services
Work directly with the Client and Implementation teams on onboarding new applicants
Update and maintain Participant Affairs’ frameworks, processes and contact lists
Provide first-level recommendations on the development and maintenance of onboarding frameworks
Promote effective collaboration with business unit owners for external committee communications
Support the management of all the Corporation’s advisory committee meetings in accordance with obligations set out in Interac’s Agreements. This includes:
Leading the annual reconstitution
Scheduling agenda setting meetings
Reviewing, updating and distributing materials
Taking comprehensive meeting notes/minutes and aligning with relevant internal stakeholders prior to distribution to Clients
Maintaining records and materials for internal purposes
Working co-operatively with internal stakeholders to ensure advisory committee materials are submitted
Assisting the Chair
Support the maintenance and publication of corporate obligations with respect to clients. This includes:
Current and complete official client lists
Advisory committee representation lists
Fulfilling Agreement obligations (i.e. around onboarding, offboarding)
Perform other tasks as may be directed
What You Bring:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in similar role
University/College education (or equivalent in experience)
Familiarity with and understanding of the payments industry and the regulatory environment is an asset
Strong documentation development background, particularly in financial services
Strong critical thinker, with the analytical skills to identify, evaluate and resolve business challenges, and competing points of view
Experience producing formal communications
Experience managing documents and data in an electronic database
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal
Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem resolution skills to analyze trends and impacts, identify options and implications, and propose practical solutions
Able to multi-task, prioritize activities, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
Resourceful, organized and possess sound judgment
Strong writing, grammar and proof-reading skills
Ability to research and/or investigate issues to execute on assigned tasks
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
