JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Nutritional Sciences' Project PA group is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Project Assistant.
This position involves assisting with a variety of projects involving training and support for individuals who operate Child Nutrition Programs in Pennsylvania. One focus area will be the Farm to School, providing assistance and support for a Farm to School summit and culinary training sessions for Child Nutrition Program operators.
Tasks will include assistance in managing registration for these sessions, participating in planning meetings, developing promotional materials, conducting small group presentations, communicating with speakers, compiling materials for the sessions, assisting with on-site registration at the sessions, entering and analyzing evaluation data, and developing evaluation summaries. This position will involve travel to the Farm to School summit, expected to be held in eastern Pennsylvania, and travel to culinary training sessions throughout the state in the spring/summer of 2026. Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, the ability to work independently, strong organizational and communication skills.
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $20.
