As the public health institute serving the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) develops multi-sector partnerships and innovative solutions to improve the public’s health and well-being across the region. The Prince George’s County Food Equity Council (FEC), formed in 2013, is a local food policy council that works to improve the County’s food system by supporting residents’ ability to grow, sell, and access healthy foods. The Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) serves as FEC’s backbone organization and fiscal sponsor.
The FEC is seeking a part-time Food Systems Senior Coordinator to support and help manage a portfolio of initiatives spanning food access, local agriculture, and community-based food system efforts. This role combines coordination and project management, with responsibility for maintaining momentum across key priorities, supporting partner engagement, and ensuring consistent follow-through across the Council’s work.
