Key Responsibilities 

As a Global Compliance Intern under the supervision of the Five Arrows Global Compliance Officer, you will take part in a range of responsibilities and gain hands-on experience in compliance-related matters. 

Your main tasks will include: 

  • Monitoring regulatory developments applicable to asset management and AIFM activities, 

  • Assisting in regulatory assessments (legal and regulatory research, gap analysis and drafting of compliance memorandum), 

  • Participating in the review, update and implementation of the Five Arrows Global Compliance framework (including drafting policies and procedures and training materials etc.), 

  • Supporting ongoing compliance projects, including internal controls, regulatory reviews and audits, 

  • Assisting in the preparation of reports for senior management and Group compliance 

 

Candidate Profile 

  • Preferably holding a master’s degree in law (or currently pursuing one), preferably with a focus on financial regulation, banking & finance law or compliance, 

  • Certification in compliance, regulatory and/or AML CFT matters will be considered as an asset, 

  • Prior experience in a law firm,  asset manager, bank or regulator is a plus, 

  • Knowledge of AIFM, MiFID II, AML/CFT or financial regulation is an advantage, 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in an international environment, 

  • Integrity and strong professional ethics, 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, 

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, 

  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
