Job Description
We are looking for an experienced product manager who will build and own the sustainable packaging development process, managing Private Brands packages end-to-end. You’ll ensure every PB product has the right packaging for its category - from technical specifications and logistics to design and labeling.
You will be responsible for:
- Determination of physical properties of packaging (preparation of technical specifications for factories)
- Creating technical specifications for categories PB
- Ensure stability of properties of packaging received from different manufacturers
- Creating article labels for launching categories
- Creation and optimization of work with packages throughout its life cycle
- Optimizing logistics costs products by reducing extra space in consumer boxes
- Improvement of consumer experience of the goods due to better quality of packaging
- Keep and maintain current article label standards meeting the requirements of both stakeholders and law
- Organizing the approval of the packaging sample with stakeholders
- Desktop researches, competitors analysis, hypothesis testing
- Learn insides from NPS and turn it in packages improvements
- Establish process’ KPI
The ideal candidate will have a background consisting of:
- 2–3 + years in packaging development, packaging engineering, or product packaging management, ideally in FMCG, automotive, or retail sectors
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, production processes, and packaging lifecycle management.
- Ability to create and maintain technical specifications, labels, and compliance documentation.
- Proven experience managing packaging projects end-to-end, coordinating with cross-functional teams (product, supply chain, design, logistics)
- Ability to analyze packaging performance, optimize logistics and costs, and turn consumer insights into improvements
- Focus on quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance across multiple suppliers and product categories
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proactive in identifying packaging issues, proposing solutions, and driving continuous improvements
- Familiarity with PLM, PIM, or other product/packaging data management systems is a plus
- English B2 and Russian B2 will be nice
