Currently we are looking for Packaging Procurement Category Manager to join Zentiva’s site in Prague to play a key role in shaping the future of our packaging procurement.
In this strategic position, you will drive category management for packaging materials, ensuring supply security, cost competitiveness, and strong alignment with global strategy. Acting as a critical link between global category teams and site operations, you will work closely with key stakeholders to support Zentiva’s growth, sustainability ambitions, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the global packaging category strategy at the Prague site, managing strategic sourcing and supplier portfolios across primary and secondary packaging materials.
Act as the procurement business partner for the manufacturing site, collaborating closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Finance.
Build and manage strong relationships with strategic suppliers, leading performance reviews and supporting innovation, sustainability, and risk management initiatives.
Deliver financial impact through budgeting support, cost optimization, value engineering, and savings initiatives.
Ensure effective governance and collaboration with operational procurement teams, acting as an escalation point and contributing to global procurement forums and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of packaging procurement experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of packaging technologies, materials, and supplier market dynamics.
Proficiency in SAP, Fiori, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluent in English; Czech is an advantage.

Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to manage complex supplier and stakeholder landscapes
