Responsibilities
Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis.
Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.
Fill an operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.
Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to:
discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents
checking packaging for correct count
checking for damage to syringes
checking for correct lot control numbers
inserting brochures as required
palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
operating semi-auto tape machine
performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.
Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.
Performs other duties as assigned by Shift Leader and required to support the needs of the business.
Must maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Good interpersonal skills preferred.
Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office.
