Job Description

  

Pack and Prep Operator

As a Pack and Prep Operator, you play a vital role in ensuring that high‑quality semiconductor products reach customers exactly as expected. Your work helps protect product integrity, supports production goals, and ensures that every shipment meets strict internal and customer quality standards. In this role, you’ll join a dedicated operations and quality team, where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy make a measurable impact every day.

What you'll do

  • Perform external visual inspections and pre‑shipment inspections to ensure products meet all specifications.
  • Use microscopes to detect physical defects such as deformed leads, damaged packages, or marking issues.
  • Verify product dimensions, markings, workmanship, and documentation for compliance.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and product status records in internal systems.
  • Follow cleanroom and electrostatic discharge safety procedures during product handling.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Cross‑train and support other production test operations as needed.

What you need

  • Strong ability to perform detailed visual work and identify product defects – required.
  • Proficiency with basic computer use, math, and documentation review – required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, and related process documents – required.
  • Effective multitasking and ability to remain composed in challenging situations – required.
  • Self‑starter with a sense of accountability for assigned tasks – required.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related inspection roles – required.
  • Ability to lift or move 5–10 lbs. frequently – required.

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
