Department Overview

Rakuten Insight, Inc. provides marketing research to clients both within and outside the Rakuten Group.
By combining the Rakuten Group's vast data assets with AI technology, we deepen our understanding of consumers through "research x data x AI" and contribute to solving our clients' business challenges. We are creating a new standard in the industry through the development and provision of AI-infused research products.

Within the Rakuten Group, expectations are rising for new data businesses that leverage our unique and vast data assets. In December 2024, we reorganized our operations to integrate Rakuten Insight, Inc., Rakuten Insight Global, Inc., and the Super Mini-Baito business, establishing a framework for creating stronger synergies in data utilization.

Position Details

This position will understand the scope of project management execution in research work, and while collaborating with overseas and domestic office staff, will contribute as a member of the department to achieving the following main objectives:
- Strengthening business growth and continuity
- Maximizing sales per employee (maximizing productivity) through support for domestic and overseas project managers and sales staff
- Improve operational efficiency and efficiency using management and distribution systems

Major Duties
- Promoting business improvement projects:
Deeply understand the operational flow of global market research projects, identify issues, and implement improvement activities.
Plan and implement business improvement measures using systems, and make specific proposals that lead to operational improvements.
- Promoting system and workflow improvements:
Work on functionality improvements, UI optimization, and error reduction.
Strengthen inter-organizational collaboration and establish efficient business processes through cross-functional workflow optimization.
- Creating and deploying operations manuals:
Create and update rules and operations manuals based on improved workflows, and promote their adoption and adoption among stakeholders.
- Collaborating with overseas offices:
Identify system improvement requirements, manage progress, and resolve issues through communication with overseas bases.
Promote operational improvements from a global perspective.
- User Support and Knowledge Sharing:
Provide user support for system usage and promote the adoption of new features and the sharing of best practices through knowledge sharing.
- Data-Based Effectiveness Measurement and Improvement:
Measure the effectiveness of system improvements using metrics, analyze the impact on per capita productivity, and establish a continuous improvement cycle.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Practical experience in the market research industry (project management, operations, or similar)
- At least 3 years of work experience

- Ability to independently identify problems and take action to solve them
