Key Responsibilities:
• Leads a select outreach topic by strategically planning and coordinating related activities using effective outreach strategies to engage with key stakeholders. Effectively carries out project management activities, to include defining project specifications/requirements, identify resources, organizing teams, ensuring project objectives align with Bank and Outreach strategic plans, prioritizing work, assigning tasks, tracking progress, preparing status reports, managing deadlines, and measuring outcomes. Tracks related policies and trends on key outreach topic. Participates and provides leadership on Federal Reserve System (FRS) initiatives and work groups.
• Executes content development projects on a select outreach topic to support key stakeholder needs and issues within the District and across the System. Informs and trains external and internal stakeholders on key issues by writing and delivering effective professional presentations and programs. Coordinates dissemination and use of results to prioritize the implementation of complementary activities (e.g. professional development programs, and state, regional, and national conferences) using in-person and technology-based approaches.
• Conducts independent research and produces specialized content and resources for the Bank and System education websites, and external sources (e.g. professional associations’ journals, blogs, and learning management platforms) on key outreach topics.
• Serves as a contributing editor for key Bank and System outreach and education resources.
• Participates in substantive, hands-on collaborative outreach projects with System colleagues and publishes processes for potential duplication in other parts of the System. • Prepares and delivers presentations on outreach topics to internal and external stakeholders. Trains internal stakeholders to serve as Fed ambassadors in support of the Bank’s tour programs, speaker’s bureau, and financial capability program for students in majority-minority high schools.
• Supports the preparation of responses to outside inquiries and provides expert advice to Bank and System leadership and other departments as needed.
• Fosters regular communications, high-level relationships, and effective collaboration among District, System, and national practice, policy, research experts/leaders from universities, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, foundations, consortia, professional associations, financial institutions, and other related organizations on select outreach topic and serves as a critical knowledge broker. Serves on and chairs local/regional/national taskforces/project committees/boards/advisory committees that align with District and System outreach interests.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in key outreach topics and monetary policy, regulatory issues, the financial and Federal Reserve Systems by attending educational programs, seminars and speeches, reading professional literature and maintaining professional affiliations/certifications.
• Maintains and enhances technical skills of all database, project management, and communication applications.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
• Eight + years preferred
