Expectations:
The Orthopedic Assistant Coordinator is an experienced Operating Room Surgical Technologist who functions in a dual capacity: providing direct clinical support in the operating room while serving as a key partner to the Orthopedic Clinical Coordinator RN in advancing the quality, consistency, and operational reliability of the orthopedic service line.
The individual will maintain regular clinical assignments in the OR and participate in standby coverage consistent with departmental expectations. In addition, dedicated time will be allocated to support coordination, education, standardization, and service line initiatives.
EDUCATION:
Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum of one (1) year of scrub experience in orthopedic cases and other specialty areas.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) issued by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
SKILLS:
Ability to work effectively with many different people in a high-energy environment.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $35.64 - $54.36.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
