Please note this is a 12 month specified purpose contract.
We have an open role in the Joint Replacement division of Orthopaedics, Tekno Surgical. This role will look after South & South-East of Ireland.
The Orthopaedic Sales Specialists will work with as part of our Orthopaedic Sales team responsible for Recon and will co-lead the Orthopaedic accounts for a specific territory in Ireland (Cork, Cork-Kerry & South East).
The ideal candidate should be based on Territory.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with key customers across Orthopaedic teams in each region to include but not limited to Theatre, CSSD and procurement
Daily technical support for customers both in orthopaedic procedures and theatre
Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
Support customers with clinical, technical, and commercial inquiries
Annual business planning and implementation for region
Identify and Development of new business opportunities in each centre
Provide feedback/monthly reports on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace
Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of recon
Develop and assist with demonstration and training on company products
Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
Assist Regional Manager with the implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
Key Skills & Experiences
A Technical Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.
A minimum of 3+ years’ successful track record in medical sales or technology service in the hospital environment is desirable, also experience in Medical device manufacturing & design will be considered.
Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
