Culture Engagement Department Organization Development Section devises and implements various initiatives to create workplaces where employees with diverse values can work together with a sense of unity under a shared philosophy, enabling the organization to consistently achieve high performance while also supporting individual self-actualization.
Following the pandemic and driven by technological advancements like agentic AI, workstyles and the roles humans fulfill are undergoing transformation. Position Details
Responsibilities
Develop solutions in the field of organizational development
- Workshop development
- Planning and managing events and seminars
- Development of digital tools
- Planning content for All Hands meetings, etc.

Key Stakeholders
- Organization Development Section members
- PICs of Culture enhancement from each company/division
- Corporate functions responsible for company-wide initiatives, such as HR, General Affairs and internal PR
English Usage
- Daily use in meetings, document creation and chat tools
Based on the insights gained from the annual Employee Awareness Survey, you will be involved in developing various solutions to foster the corporate culture across the Rakuten Group. Taking into account employee needs and management direction, you will design employee experiences for various scenarios such as onboarding, daily operations, and company-wide all-hands meetings.
We value open discussions within the team as it is essential to look at things from multiple perspectives, including short-term and long-term views, business and organizational needs, company-wide and individual perspectives, and logic and emotion. New ideas utilizing technology, including AI, are also welcome. You will start as a project member in a small team, but there will be opportunities to take on the role of project leader based on your skills.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Strong passion for employee engagement and corporate culture
- Practical experience in corporate human resource development or organizational development (planning, content creation, facilitation)
- Communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills
- TOEIC score of 800 or above or equivalent English proficiency
- Business level Japanese language skills
Desired Qualifications:
- A keen ability to observe organizations and employees, identify the issue, and to solve problems
- Ability to proactively define issues, consider solutions, and make proposals without being overly constrained by reporting lines
- Project management experience working with persons-in-charge from various departments and external creative partners
- Data Analysis skills
- Experience in business divisions, not limited to indirect divisions
