Job Description:

Join our Global Finance Services (GFS) team in Little Island, Cork as an Order to Cash Financial Specialist II, reporting to the OTC Manager, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate cash application and maintaining customer master data across multiple international markets. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activities will primarily include, but not limited to, cash application, customer master data maintenance & manual transaction adjustments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Act as subject matter expert for MDG processes, supporting customer creation and amendment workflows, ensuring compliance with global processes.

  • Manage & drive OTC-related projects, including system enhancements, process automation & improvements.

  • Represent OTC in IT discussions, working with internal IT teams to ensure timely ticket resolution and alignment with business requirements.

  • Coordinate testing and deployment of new functionalities in SAP and related systems.

  • Support multiple legal entities across the ACE region, ensuring smooth financial operations. Maintain full compliance with SOX requirements, SPA agreements, and company policies.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and drive process improvements using analytical tools and automation opportunities.

  • Provide accurate documentation for internal and external audits. Respond to ad hoc requests and contribute to team objectives.

  • Assist the OTC Manager with operational tasks and strategic initiatives as directed, ensuring alignment with team and business objectives.

Skills

  • Accuracy: Attention to detail to ensures accurate and timely processing of cash applications and accounting adjustments.

  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinker: Quick, pragmatic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.

  • Adaptability in Global and Diverse Environments: Comfortable with ambiguity and change in multi-country, multi-cultural, and fast-paced environment.

  • Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Familiar with AI and process mining tools (e.g., Celonis). Able to use data insights to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities

  • Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, with a willingness to learn analytical tools

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business.

  • Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable or Order to Cash, ideally in a Shared Service Centre.

  • A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and flexible approach to work

  • ERP experience in SAP/Oracle an advantage.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment; biotech/pharma experience is a bonus.
