Position Brand Description:

The Operator – Warehouse Operations Supporting Parenteral Manufacturing is responsible for performing accurate and timely inventory management transactions, including but not limited to receiving, moving, and shipping materials. The Operator ensures materials are available for daily production operations, verifies inventory accuracy, and contributes to uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Position involves operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) with completion of Lilly training. All activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures and guidelines.

Key Objectives / Deliverables:

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by leading safety initiatives, modeling safe practices, and supporting all Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Corporate and Site goals.
  • Drive and own safety improvements across warehouse operations while actively participating on the Warehouse Safety Team.
  • Promptly report and escalate safety near misses, unsafe conditions, and at-risk behaviors to support a safe working environment.
  • Ensure satellite warehouses are clean, orderly, and inspection ready at all times.
  • Ensure material availability and on-time delivery to production lines, eliminating risks of manufacturing delays or disruption.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory turnover and take timely action to escalate, reduce, or remove slow-moving items.
  • Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities.
  • Perform Cycle Counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Execute Inventory Transactions in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure Inventory Levels for satellite warehouses are set and maintained appropriately.
  • Zero items on the Quality backlog.
  • Perform warehouse audits as assigned.
  • Maintain Individual Training Plan at 100% current.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Powered Industrial Truck License (or be willing to receive training to obtain license)
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all Health Safety and Environment Corporate and Site Goals.

Additional Preferences:

  • Previous warehouse or inventory management experience.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.

Other Information:

  • Tasks may require handling hazardous or other dangerous materials.
  • The Warehouse Operator role is shift-based: 5:45 am – 6:00 pm on a rotational schedule of three days on, two days off, two days on, and three days off

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$17.30 - $38.08

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
