Operator - 01 Utility Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operating Utility Systems & Equipment
• Start-up, shutdown, and operation of plant utility systems, including chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, water treatment (RO), wastewater treatment, and associated pumps, valves, gauges, and control panels.
• Maintain Chillers, Pumps, Compressor, Air Dryer, cooling towers, RO units, and wastewater systems.
• Collect samples, analyze water quality, and adjust chemical dosing to comply with environmental and product quality standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance: lubricate equipment, clean filters and trays, inspect piping, and ensure systems are operational.
• Troubleshoot and correct basic mechanical or electrical issues, coordinate with maintenance teams for more complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate logs of operational data, maintenance activities, and chemical usage.

Qualifications:

Work Experience and Education  

• High School Diploma/ITI, Mechanical/Fitter/Electrical background or equivalent level of education required.

• 3+ years of experience working as Utility Operator or Electrician or Fitter in an industry. 

• Prior experience performing Preventative/Breakdown Maintenance of Utility machines 

• Waste Water treatment experience. 

• Prior experience of trouble-shooting Utility equipment.

•  Mechanical aptitude .

• Priorities setting capabilities, time management and flexibility.
