Job Description:

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as an Operations/Instructor Senior Principal at ARMA. The Operations/Instructor Senior Principal is a highly specialized role serving as the lead instructor responsible for analysis, planning, and supporting SOF units. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operational experience, deep technical understanding, and the ability to integrate complex mission requirements across Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders.

You will utilize your 10+ years of experience to provide a wide range of subject matter support to the customer mission: analytical support necessary to generate due diligence packets, perform profile maintenance, conduct Information monitoring and analysis of consumer data portfolios, and public record/business/credit and Internet research.

  • Support and advise drawing on years of relevant operational experience.

  • Provide analysis, subject matter expertise, and plan training and operations in support of operational analysis and mission integration.

  • Develop and write deployment orders, operational orders, and staffing documents to support mission execution.

  • Collaborate with U.S. inter-agencies and commercial corporations on a variety of SOF unconventional warfare support topics, such as developing theories, concepts, practices, and employment methods related to SOF operations.

  • Prepares and presents reports on findings, requirements, and recommendations to the commander, higher headquarters, and other agencies as directed.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding emerging concepts and technologies.

  • Plan, develop, and update curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials for SOF courses.

  • Deliver classroom and field instruction, including lectures, practical exercises, and evaluations to SOF operations students.

  • Assess student performance, provide feedback and counseling, and recommend remediation or advancement.

  • Conduct research and scholarly or doctrinal analysis to keep course content current with evolving threats, tactics, and joint SOF doctrine.

  • Coordinate with higher headquarters, training commands, or client organizations to align training outcomes with operational requirements.

  • Apply expert knowledge of the UTS environment to assess operational risks and provide recommendations across diverse mission sets.

  • Experience conducting and/or supporting Law Enforcement units for planning.

  • Comprehensive understanding of UTS.

  • Experience working in Cross Functional Teams, Operational Planning Teams, and other groups support mission requirements.

  • Proven ability to develop operational documentation and mission orders.

  • Strong briefing and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior DoW and IC leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bring your Operations Analyst Principal expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Operations Analyst Principal must have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience either Military or Civilian Equivalent

  • Technical skills: Microsoft office

  • Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI clearance

  • US citizenship required

  • Role requirements: Military Experience, SOF, HUMINT

Optional Skills and Abilities:

  • Commercial or Military Aviation Experience

  • Commercial maritime experience

  • Commercial finance and banking experience

The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 - $129,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
