Summary

Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; approving employee time; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions for all departments within designated area.

Job Description

Coordinates administrative and support functions of one or more executives and management personnel. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Manages administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Prepare administrative budgets and participates in development of operational and administrative policies. Preforms as a project manager for departmental projects and organizational changes. Acts as a liaison to all departmental management and prioritizes work activities throughout the department. Advises on organizational best practices for internal resource coordination. Delivers corrective feedback in a manner that inspires accountability and self-redirection. Coaches others on operating personnel management systems and their processes. Manages conflict and competition between teams and across organizational lines. Consults on a full spectrum of enterprise office administration activities. Organizes and coordinates large meetings and conferences. Monitors effectiveness of support staff; recommends improvements. Contributes to office administration improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration or a minimum of six years’ related experience required.

Two years of leadership experience is required.
