AIG

Operations Specialist / FL - Sweden or Norway

Oslo Full time

Do you excel at structure, processes, and delivering high-quality administrative support? We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Nordic Underwriting Operations team in either our central Stockholm or Oslo office.

You will be part of the Operations department, but your primary responsibility will be supporting our Financial Lines team. You will work with market-leading commercial products like Cyber, Directors & Officers (D&O), and Crime insurance, dealing with some of the largest companies in the Nordics.

What’s in it for you?

At AIG, we believe in providing the framework for you to excel in your field. Here is what you can expect:

  • A "Learn-it-all" Culture: You will join an environment where we value curiosity over having a flawless answer from the start. We share knowledge, ask questions, and invest heavily in your professional growth.

  • One Nordic Team: Your base is in Stockholm, but you become a vital part of an integrated regional engine room, offering you diverse, cross-border sparring and a vibrant international network.

  • Excellent Benefits: A competitive package including a bonus plan, occupational pension, wellness allowance, private health insurance, 30 days of vacation, and a flexible hybrid setup.

Your impact and responsibilities

You will be the vital link between our Underwriters, global support, and external brokers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contract Administration: Policy administration, accurate data entry, and invoicing of insurance contracts.

  • Broker & Client Contact: Acting as the first point of contact for operational emails and calls from brokers and clients.

  • Daily Support: Supporting our Underwriters with diverse daily tasks and participating in client or broker meetings when needed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively analysing and streamlining our internal processes.

What you’ll need to succeed

You don't need to be an insurance expert, but you must be an operational professional who takes pride in getting the details right. We believe you are a match if you:

  • Have a post-secondary education and solid experience in an administrative or operations support role.

  • Are fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and professional English.

  • Have strong analytical and social skills, with a focus on timely delivery.

  • Are a structured problem-solver who enjoys working independently within a collaborative team.

Meet the Team

You will join a vibrant and social environment in our central Stockholm office. Operationally, you are part of a tight-knit Nordic team of 10 colleagues across the region. We pride ourselves on a culture where we learn from each other, support one another during busy periods, and celebrate our successes together.

How to apply

Forget the lengthy cover letter – send us your CV and include a short summary of your motivation and fit for the role.

We will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. We welcome applications in Scandinavian or English.
