Role Purpose

The Operations Performance & Planning Manager supports the Operations Director in planning, coordinating and executing key operational initiatives, while building a structured approach to operational performance tracking, KPI management, process optimisation and capacity planning. This role is designed to address increasing operational complexity driven by business growth, higher volumes, multi-site coordination and cross-functional dependencies, enabling faster decision-making, improved efficiency and scalable operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning & Execution

  • Support the Operations Director in planning, coordination and execution of operational initiatives.
  • Ensure structured follow-up of key actions, priorities and deliverables.
  • Help translate strategic operational priorities into effective execution.

Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse end-to-end operational processes and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput and resource utilisation.
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation based on volume forecasts and business needs.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate across key functions (Sales, Finance, Quality) to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and support smooth multi-site operations.

Decision Support & Business Reviews

  • Prepare management presentations, business reviews and performance updates.
  • Deliver decision-support analyses (scenarios, trade-offs, impact assessments).
  • Provide structured insights to accelerate decision-making and proactive management.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear executive-level materials.
