Job Title:  Operations Plus Manager

1. Job Overview

The Operations Plus Manager will allow the improvement of all processes within the organization by the continuous approach to eliminate waste and the application of the concepts for Operations Plus (IWS)

2. Job Dimensions

Indicate the significant dimensions of the job, (eg Revenue, Budget, Expenditure, no. of co-workers directly reporting to this job.

Responsible for directing efforts to improve processes and implement Plus Operations tools

Other Information: (Example: No. of customers & clients serviced, training courses conducted, units repaired, maintained, etc.)

What are the key accountabilities and tasks for this role?

Direct the Operations plus implementation

Lead necessary training of the Operations Plus RTT system

Link between the plant and at the regional level as support functions during implementations

Share the practical improvements and learning with the other plants

Work together with leadership to identify capacities and plan the development of different capacities

Support and training for leaders during and through the implementation of RTT Operations Plus system

Achieve the objectives defined in the implementation of Operations Plus

Any and all other tasks and projects as requested by management

4. Major challenges & complexities

Describe the most difficult types of problems and/or major challenges faced in performing the job.

The Operations Plus leader will have to work with the management teams to achieve the objectives set.

Standardize best practices.

5. Relationships

6. Qualifications/Requirements

6.1 Formal Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS – Level Required

Education: University degree. Mastery is desirable, but not indispensable.

Training: 4-5 years of experience in industries, developing lean methodologies.

Note: The experience in the process can replace the professional career.

6.2 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Behaviours (please also refer to the core competencies reflected in the Amcor Leadership Framework overleaf, in addition to defining any key technical skills or other key attributes specific for this position)

Experience: Development of 5s concepts in plant.

Skill: Work under pressure, multitasking, work with diverse teams.

Note: These skills and competencies will be approved in the Acceptance Matrix that each manager will be signing since October 2016.
