  • Oversee logistics operations, including storage, handling, and disposition of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Review aged and excess inventory and drive action plans to reduce and prevent obsolescence.

  • Act as a planning resource for estimating material requirements, footage, EOQs, and supply needs for projects and special orders.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization

  • Identify, lead, and support cost‑savings initiatives throughout the plant.

  • Support Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives to improve planning effectiveness and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Analyze missed production or shipment dates using Pareto charts and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.

Data, Systems & Reporting

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of planning data (routings, standards, machine status, order status, etc.) within BOMA/ERP systems.

  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports, including backlog, capacity analysis, inventory, variance, and on-time delivery metrics.

  • Provide training and feedback to stakeholders to improve system usage and data quality.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop the planning, inventory, scheduling, and logistics team through clear goals, coaching, and performance management.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, salary planning, recognition, corrective action, and performance reviews.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and development‑focused team culture.

  • Serve as backup for Scheduler, PDM Control Coordinator, Inventory Control Coordinator, Warehouse Manager, and Buyer/Planner functions as needed.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Technical, and Maintenance teams to resolve production and process issues.
