This role is onsite 5 days a week in Seattle, WA
About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations in our Seattle, WA location. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage safety, inventory accuracy, quality, productivity, cost saving and customer delivery promises
- Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly, internal and contractor workforce
- Lead daily FC operations to deliver stable execution across safety, customer experience, productivity, inventory accuracy (ICQA), and cost control.
- Manage and improve key operational results including safety performance, inventory accuracy, quality, productivity, cost savings, and customer delivery promises.
- Support, mentor, and motivate a mixed workforce of hourly and salaried employees, including contractors/agency labor as applicable.
- Evaluate and act on performance metrics to ensure high-quality execution and cost-efficient workflows
- Own site-level P&L performance and drive results across key cost lines (labor, overtime, supplies, equipment/service, shrink/damage, etc.).
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while protecting safety, quality, and customer delivery promises; quantify impact/ROI and communicate outcomes to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Transportation, Quality/Food Safety, and Engineering/IT to optimize cost structure and operational efficiency.
- Ensure safe operation, inspection, and compliance for PIT/MHE and enforce safe work practices.
- Lead PIT safety training, certification tracking, and refresher training; investigate incidents/near-misses and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain strong OSHA-aligned safety standards; lead and execute safety training for both hourly and salaried teams.
- Own ICQA execution, including cycle counts, ad hoc counts, and inventory investigations, to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Establish and monitor ICQA KPIs (inventory accuracy, count completion rate, count resolution time, shrink/damage trends) and drive corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis for inventory variances across receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, returns, and damages; implement process fixes and training.
- Maintain strong bin/location control and storage standards (labeling, slotting discipline, and location audits) to reduce mispicks and improve customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse/retail operations experience preferred.
- Experience managing teams of 100+ (hourly and salaried; including contractors/agency where applicable).
- Experience overseeing operations across multiple warehouses/sites strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment; excellent organizational skills required.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Extensive, hands-on 5S experience, with the ability to drive standard work, visual management, and sustainable continuous improvement on the shop floor.
- Schedule flexibility required: must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer areas for extended periods (with required PPE).
- Lean Six Sigma certification: Green Belt or above required.
- PIT proficiency required (trainer-level preferred): must be able to personally operate PIT and demonstrate safe operation; experience with sit-down forklift, order picker, and reach truck required.
- OSHA knowledge & safety training required: familiar with OSHA-related requirements and able to lead/execute safety training.
- Work in an environment where noise levels vary and can be loud.
- Work in multi-temperature areas, including refrigerated (≤40°F / 4°C) and freezer (0°F / -18°C) zones.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $91,000 to 108,000
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
