Compensation Range
Hourly: $16.85 - $21.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support all lines of business by preparing, indexing, and processing documentation while providing responsive customer service and ensuring compliance with bank regulations.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Essential Functions
Provide customer service to internal and external customers as part of the Branch Hotline phone queue making outbound phone calls as needed
Monitor the retention period of stored boxes and shred as needed
Prepare work for all lines of business by sorting into batches, entering into database, and staging for imaging pick up
Review daily boxing list and stage for imaging pickup
Index work for all lines of business via Oracle Document Capture
Import work for all lines of business via the department email inbox and Content Manager
Execute the retrieval of scanned work and organize it to be indexed
Process address changes for consumer loans received via mail and email
Process partial loss insurance claims for indirect and direct loans and lines of credit
Adhere to regulations set forth by Commerce Bank’s Legal, Compliance, and Risk Departments including but not limited to SOX, REG x, and REG Z
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
Basic knowledge of the banking industry, including best practices
Basic knowledge of consumer lending, non-real estate secured, and the federal regulations that govern consumer loans
Ability to research and provide solutions with the understanding of when to escalate issues
Ability to retain information and apply knowledge to multiple situations or scenarios
Critical thinker working towards building on basic analytical skills
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks as instructed
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and casts a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Inquisitive and agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills when working with internal partners and external customers
Moderate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of access databases.
Education & Experience
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
1+ years loan servicing or related work experience preferred
Previous banking experience or familiarity with consumer lending preferred
*Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week
