Under frequent direction, assist in creating, analyzing and distributing data and information related to performance with the Operations Department, including trending displays, reports, metrics and operational needs. Ensure efficient and accurate development and utilization of applications in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint as well as SAP Business Objects applications. In concert with their Team Manager, build applications in a manner that enables data, information and reports to be easily published to the Executive and Operations Management teams. Ensure Operations Management displays, analytics and reports for all lines of business meet all business requirements. Gather and validate data and information required to develop and communicate critical Operations reports, metrics and trends. Emphasis is on strategic reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute reports, metrics, trending to Operations Department Leadership; Assist in providing analysis, trending and projections to business segments and Operations team.

  • Ensure that all operational data compilations, projections, spreadsheets and other departmental system reports are produced and published in a timely and accurate manner, meeting the needs of end-users, as defined.

  •  Update and publish Operations department reports monitoring staffing levels, resource allocation, performance in key metrics and measures.

  • Conduct industry analysis, competitive benchmarking to identify improvement opportunities, leveraged to drive continuous improvement.

  • Optimize and document key business processes. Prepare “Business Requirement” documentation for submission to IT, working collaboratively with end-users on content and implementation.

  • Act as a liaison for Analytics team with Operations and key stakeholders; acting as a resource to identify data, information and reporting needs/requirements/expectations.

  • Assist Manager in developing measurement criteria for strategic Operations initiatives.

  • Create mechanisms for data collection, reporting and interactive delivery.

  • Participate as SME on small projects and workgroups/teams.

  • Performs other related work as required or requested.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics preferred

  • 2 to 4 years of analytical work experience

  • 2 plus years of working experience with SQL and/or SAS

  • 2 plus years of working experience with PowerBI, Tableau or other dashboard/virtualization software

  • Advanced level experience with Excel

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Sound customer service, communication and collaboration skills.

Our current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary wage range for this position is approximately $60,000-$75,000 based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, educational background and certifications, performance and qualifications, market demand for the role and other organizational needs.
