This role is in support of Cencora’s global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.
Shift Details: Mon - Fri - 10am - 6:30 pm
Pay Details: $60k - $63k
Responsibilities:
Lead the team in executing the day-to-day import shipment flow.
Monitor shipment activity to ensure no jobs are missed and priorities are addressed.
Work with Brokerage on FDA holds
Run TMS reports twice daily to identify exceptions, aging jobs, and shipments requiring action.
Verify Customs clearance and shipment status using TMS and alternate tracking/status systems as needed.
Send temperature verification emails to airlines to confirm approved temperature storage locations.
Extend qualification time for shipments held at airlines in compliant cold-chain conditions while awaiting clearance (using our hibernation calculator).
Create airline replenishment/manipulation orders and obtain required Customs signatures to maintain product condition while pending clearance.
Assist in prioritizing processing activities and coordinating with Dispatch
Coordinate replenishment activities for all shipment types, all keeping temps
Partner with the Dispatch team to release delivery orders on time and schedule delivery appointments for larger consignments.
Coordinate with the CFS team to identify, nominate, and route shipments eligible for the bonded CFS process.
Work with the WCB team to obtain disposition/updates on customs clearance status and next steps.
Be efficient in monitoring and responding to emails from multiple stakeholders
Process live animal shipments internationally
Pay airline terminal, storage, and handling fees using multiple payment platforms; ensure timely processing to prevent delays.
Education:
3 day Dangerous Goods Certification
Proficiency WorldSTAR, OpStar, and other World Courier operating systems
Mastery of Cold Chain Management.
Skills and Knowledge:
Mastery of Operations Level 1, 2 skills
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work independently
