Job Overview The following key accountabilities describe the general tasks for Operational Performance Analytics, but are not limited to these tasks only. The assignment to those tasks will be dependant on the individual role level and work experience. Main tasks: Data Collection and Management: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and maintaining databases or data repositories. Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and reliability of data through regular checks and validation processes. Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement using statistical tools and software. Analytical Insights Development: Develop key insights to support recommendations to management and stakeholders, enabling improvements in overall study performance. Portfolio Study Performance Reporting: Support the creation of high-quality, customer-centric portfolio study performance reports and ad-hoc analyses focusing on timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and quality for all clinical trials. KPI and KQI Tracking: Support the development, tracking, and reporting of select internal and external KPIs and KQIs. Reporting: Create and maintain reports that summarize findings from data analysis, including dashboards or visualizations for clear presentation. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support as required. Documentation: Assist in documenting processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance. Learning and Development: Continuously enhance skills in analytics tools and techniques, acting as a subject matter expert to provide insights and guidance on analytical methods. Support for Process Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with team members on projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality, and performance. Competencies & Skills • Demonstrated advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and effective data analysis capabilities. • Expert in Excel, including advanced functions and data visualization techniques, as well as Power Query for data transformation. • Experienced with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI. • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TEAMS. • Skilled in incorporating AI tools and techniques into daily work and analysis to enhance decision making and operational efficiency. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and effectively coordinate tasks with accountability. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels and work in interdisciplinary teams. • Fluency in English (oral and written) • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and time management. • Adaptable and flexible in multicultural environments, with a customer-focused mindset and a willingness to take on responsibility. • Capable of acting as a subject matter expert and providing training on new processes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sciences, economics or business administration • Non-graduate jobholders with substantial amount of professional experience in clinical research • 5 –10 years of professional experience in a clinical research-related position (Clinical Development or equivalent) • Understanding of Clinical Operations & ICH-GCP • Experience in business analytics and AI technologies • Proven track record of driving insights and improving processes in high-volume environments • Experience with Project Portfolio Management Systems (e.g., Planisware) and/or Clinical Trial Management Systems • Expertise in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI)
