The Division of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Louisiana State University seeks candidates for an instructor position, starting Spring 2026, to offer freshman-, sophomore-, and junior-level introductory courses in circuits, electronics, and systems engineering including control and communications, and to guide senior-level students through capstone design classes. Special consideration will be given to those who can bring design experience and creative enthusiasm for the capstone design instruction.
Anticipated teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
Minimum Qualifications
A candidate must have completed an M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a closely related area by December 2025. A candidate must demonstrate mastery of undergraduate material in some of the areas listed above. A candidate must have some teaching experience. Industrial experience and exposure to development projects are desirable but not required. Teaching and any instructional experience should be detailed in the CV.
