Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000
About the Role & the Team
The Operational Excellence Specialist is an early-career role ideal for a recent graduate or a candidate with 1–3 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, healthcare administration, or process improvement.
You will work directly with teams across the organization to help streamline workflows, leverage technology, and improve the quality of care we provide. The role offers hands-on exposure to project management, operational design, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Support process improvement initiatives across multiple departments by helping gather requirements, map workflows, document processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist with project planning and coordination, including timelines, stakeholder updates, meeting notes, and tracking action items.
Participate in root cause analysis, gap assessments, and solution brainstorming sessions.
Help maintain a centralized repository of process documentation, SOPs, and workflows.
Contribute to change management efforts by preparing communications, training materials, and documentation.
Track performance metrics and help monitor the impact of implemented improvements.
Build strong cross-functional working relationships and collaborate with teams to understand current-state challenges.
Support the team in promoting a culture of continuous improvement through curiosity, problem-solving, and structured thinking.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Internship, co-op, capstone project, or relevant coursework involving project management, process mapping, data analysis, or operational improvement
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Slides/PowerPoint and Sheets/Excel)
Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with enthusiasm for operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to healthcare or behavioral health environments (through internships, part-time jobs, or coursework)
Familiarity with Lean or process improvement concepts (e.g., value stream mapping, root cause analysis)
Experience with data or BI tools (Excel, Sheets, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
Experience working on cross-functional projects
