Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily yard operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school district partners through proactive communication
• Coach, support, and engage drivers, monitors, and staff in a culture of care, accountability, and respect
• Partner with safety and maintenance teams to uphold a strong safety-first culture
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels
• Review payroll and billing for accuracy and timeliness
• Resolve issues professionally and lead calmly during high-pressure situations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational leadership experience
• Proven experience managing large teams of hourly employees
• Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to drive efficiencies in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-focused
• Comfortable with early-morning operations
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and “grace under pressure”

Compensation

• Starting salary: $80,000, negotiable based on experience
