About the Role
An established Automotive Service Practice is looking for skilled Automotive Infotainment Test Engineer for Android platform based IVI and QNX/Linux platform based Cluster program’s warranty issue triaging, testing in vehicle/bench and initial root cause analysis.
In your work, you will be involved in infotainment domain warranty issue triaging, testing and log collection from bench/vehicle, interaction with issue reporter, and initial root cause analysis for any of the domains out of Audio, Connectivity, Projection, Screens, Cluster, etc. on bench and vehicle. You have to reproduce customer reports defects on bench/vehicle, collect necessary logs for the issue reported, coordinate with customer’s engineering domain managers to understand the needs and execute those tasks.
What You Will Do
- Initial defect triaging of the post-production warranty issues reported.
- Interact with applicable stakeholders to collect more information about the issues reported.
- Collect logs from reported vehicle
- Reproduce the reported issue in vehicle or bench to collect needed logs.
- Work with partners and customers in US and manage on-site collaboration between you and development teams.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate on daily basis with colleagues and stakeholders, both remotely and on-site.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders communications and negotiations.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Experience in Automotive Infotainment testing.
- Experience in Embedded Concepts, Linux/Android OS, RTOS Concepts.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in Infotainment SW Testing
- At least 1 years’ experience in vehicle testing in USA
- BTech/BE in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or in related topics
- Experience in using tools such CANoe, PCAN.
- Experience in Tracking (Jira, RTC, Bugzilla) tools
- Experience with scripting tools.
- A quick learner, ready to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment and tools
- Ability to work independently in parallel collaboration with other technical teams and customers, both remotely and on-site
- Willing to work on time critical projects.
- Good English communication is mandatory
