Working under general guidance, the Online Faculty Chair has responsibility for the performance and productivity of all of the online full-time faculty to ensure instruction complies with all compliance and processes to maintain student learning outcomes. This includes overseeing faculty performance, managing daily performance metrics, conducting data analysis and evaluations, participating in hiring decisions, assisting with disciplinary actions, and supervisory duties.
What you will do:
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the online full-time faculty classes.
Supports adherence to CSWE standards and policies
Oversees and ensures compliance with all university policies and government regulations in the day-to-day instructional classroom.
Collaborates with program stakeholders
Monitors processes and workflow and develops recommendations for improvement and ensures up-to-date documentation.
Assist with any escalated issues that may arise, address complaints and resolve problems
Prepares reports on productivity trends and ensures staff productivity meets goals.
Participates as member of management team in all process improvement and academic instructional initiatives.
Attends meetings and works collaboratively with departments in the University to assist in streamlining ideas, projects, and other programmatic and institutional needs.
Works closely with metrics and other reports to analyze and show department progress.

What you will need:
Masters in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited program.
Masters level social work licensure.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in higher education, social work education.
Experience with online education environments, including supporting students and faculty.
Demonstrated knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards and NASW Code of Ethics.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigations.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Bonus:
Doctorate in Social Work or PhD in Social Work or related doctoral degree.
Previous supervisory/management experience.
