Job Description:

GDIT is seeking to hire an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) with its transformational Electronic Health Records modernization efforts.

As an OCM Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring project success with integrated strategies and plans across people, process and technology dimensions to support user adoption and effective clinical operations.

This is a hands-on role, that requires practical change support experience, industrious problem solving, cross-team collaboration and the ability to navigate complexity and scale.

This role is remote, however, up to 25% travel is expected to work locations such as Rockville, MD; Kansas City, MO; and other pilot sites across the country.

This role requires you to obtain and maintain an in-depth Public Trust Level 5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Build and refine a program-wide OCM strategy to lay a foundation for scaled, repeatable success in user engagement and adoption.
  • Create and implement change management strategies that effectively manage resistance, create user champions and leave organizations more capable.
  • Apply best practice and structured methodologies to create plans in concurrence with government direction and other OCM contractor teams to support adoption.
  • Be a key contributor to all phases of change support: User and Decision Maker Analyses, Change Impact Assessments, Change Readiness, Organizational Engagement Planning, Communications Planning and Adoption/Sustainment Planning.
  • Partner with program and client communications leads to develop communications plan tailored for specific audiences, leveraging appropriate channels necessary to affect change.
  • Work closely with project/program teams to integrate OCM activities into project plans and status updates.
  • Support translation of change impact assessments into actionable strategies to mitigate resistance and spur adoption.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OCM strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • May supervise a small a team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree and 8+ years of years of relevant OCM strategy and implementation experience in large IT programs and projects.
  • Experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Knowledge of client-facing consulting practices. 
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience supporting EHR modernization in a Federal agency.
  • Relevant OCM certifications such as Prosci, CCMP or others.
  • Knowledge of the Indian Health Service, Department of Veterans Affairs and/or Department of Defense environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt in challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly collaborative and inclusive work style and open to new ideas.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a multi-contractor environment.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
