Job Description :

Your Job: The Oncology Coordinator independently provides specialized nursing care with the primary emphasis on managing the care of identified patients with cancer.  You will work in conjunction with the patient's multidisciplinary care team according to agreed clinical guidelines with the objective of coordinating high-quality patient care across all care delivery sites. Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary care team, composed of surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, hematologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, pathologists, psychologists, social workers, staff nurses, and a wide range of other team specialists. You will also provide continuity and coordination of patient care; conducts patient and professional education initiatives; hold a collaborative relationship with multidisciplinary teams, community resources, and agencies.
