The team
Operating as part of a Global Centralized HR Support Center in the Global People Services (GPS) Team, the Onboarding Advisor is responsible for providing Human Resources administrative and staff support for Global HR, employees and managers. The Onboarding Advisor primary responsibility is processing HR transactions including direct client interface as well as research, analysis, report preparation, interacting with employees and managers on a variety of HR issues, training and advising on policies and procedures, onboarding new employees, processing terminations, and preparing letters and company documents. Fast pace, heavy workload, changing priorities, demanding clients are part of the environment. Work is generally of a critical, time-sensitive or confidential nature. The Onboarding Advisor will work in varying shifts allowing for support coverage during core business hours for their respective region.
The role
The Onboarding Analyst will play a key role in managing the onboarding process for new hires across the United States and LATAM countries. This role will focus on ensuring accurate and compliant onboarding procedures while proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization to enhance the new hire experience and overall efficiency.
What you’ll bring
• Oversee and execute complex HR transactions related to the onboarding process, including pre-employment documentation, system updates, and employment verification, with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and streamline onboarding workflows, ensuring that all new hire activities are completed efficiently and in alignment with regional labor laws and company policies.
• Handle onboarding-related inquiries and issues, providing high-quality support to new hires and internal stakeholders across the US and LATAM regions.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and LATAM labor laws, such as those related to benefits enrollment, documentation, and employee eligibility requirements.
• Collaborate with internal HR teams and external vendors to manage onboarding elements, such as background checks, benefits registration, and new hire orientation programs.
• Act as a subject matter expert on onboarding best practices, continuously evaluating processes to identify inefficiencies and implement enhancements that improve the overall experience for new employees.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers and HR partners on onboarding procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into their roles.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of onboarding materials, communications, and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all regions.
• Regularly review and recommend updates to onboarding practices to maintain compliance and meet the evolving needs of the business and workforce.
• Collaborate with the broader HR Shared Services team to drive process improvements and support key HR initiatives that impact on the employee lifecycle.
