What you will do:

  • Be the welcoming face of the office, looking after reception, visitors and day‑to‑day queries.
  • Make sure the office looks and feels great: meeting rooms, common areas and kitchen spaces are tidy, stocked and ready to use.
  • Coordinate suppliers and building services to solve small maintenance or cleaning issues and keep standards high.
  • Support internal events and wellbeing initiatives (afterworks, team gatherings, seasonal celebrations), including logistics, set‑up and follow‑up.
  • Help organise travel for employees and senior leaders, and assist with basic office logistics between Barcelona and other TheFork offices.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an office perspective (welcome packs, access, tours, returns of equipment, etc.).
  • Take care of light administrative tasks such as tracking simple budgets or orders, keeping contact lists and records up to date, and contributing to sustainability and office‑occupancy initiatives.

 

Who you are:

  • 1–2 years of experience in office management, reception, hospitality or a similar administrative role.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and people‑oriented, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating a great office atmosphere.
  • Strong multitasking skills: you stay calm under pressure and can juggle several requests and priorities at the same time.
  • Hands‑on and proactive, with a “see it, do it” attitude and initiative to solve day‑to‑day issues.
  • Very organised and structured, with good coordination and follow‑up skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels, as well as external suppliers and building staff.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, knowing when to ask for help or escalate.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written); any other language is a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable: comfortable with changing timetables and priorities in a dynamic environment.
