Role Overview

The Pricing Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the RP Pricing Team by assisting in the development of accurate and competitive costs for global healthcare market research projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collecting quotes from third partners, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring pricing aligns with industry benchmarks and Research Partnership objectives. The Pricing Analyst will work on multi-market qualitative and quantitative studies, helping to optimize pricing strategies while maintaining profitability and efficiency. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Core, but not exclusive, responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the end-to-end pricing lifecycle for RP proposals, from RFQ intake and supplier outreach via the RFQ management system through to final cost proposal development. This includes defining and sourcing all cost components required for successful project delivery, including external vendor costs and internal resources and hours, to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and commercially sound proposals.
  • Vendor selection at RFQ stage and quote collection from third parties
  • Creation of internal cost sheets for client proposals, ensuring accuracy and financial viability
  • Completion of client cost sheets
  • Assistance with RFI client pricing exercises
  • Successful handover of final project cost sheets to The Project Management Team
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and finance, to align pricing with business strategy

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Strong commercial, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a role involving costs and negotiations or at market research agency
  • Significant experience with teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong project management skills (adhering to agreed timelines, troubleshooting and communication with internal and external stakeholders)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent Excel and numerical skills
  • Familiarity with inflation indices and pricing models is a plus.
  • Finance degree or relevant discipline degree.
  • Proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and approach
