Primary Position Objective
Resmed is leading the way in cloud-connected medical devices that transform care for people with sleep apnea, COPD and other chronic diseases.
The Precision Tooling (PT) Department is based in Sydney and forms a part of the Global Supply Chain Engineering function. Within the Precision Tooling Department, we are working to deliver high quality LSR injection moulds and automation to our internal customers using the latest industrial technology.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is the central hub for our site, reporting directly to the Global Tooling Manager.
This critical position is responsible for managing all site purchasing and coordinating our office and facilities management. You will be the go-to person for ensuring our workplace is safe, compliant, and runs efficiently, allowing our operations team to focus on their core tasks.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating for cost-effective procurement.
Act as the primary contact for all purchasing, building maintenance, cleaning, and office supplies.
Manage all external suppliers, from sourcing quotes to scheduling visits and on-site coordination.
Conduct and manage all WHS inductions for new staff and visitors.
Maintain WHS records and manage incident reporting.
Manage site security access, visitor protocols, and general office standards.
Provide high-level administrative support and reports to the Global Tooling Manager.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, such as an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, or Senior Administrator.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience in purchasing and supplier/contractor management.
High proficiency with an ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for purchasing.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with tracking systems (e.g., Confluence, JIRA).
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A proactive, helpful, and responsive attitude, with a proven ability to build positive working relationships with all levels of staff and external
Desirable
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing, engineering, or operations environment.
A formal qualification in WHS (e.g., Certificate IV) or Business Administration.
