40Gundersen Health System is seeking a detail‑oriented, outgoing, and highly organized Office Assistant to support our Pediatrics unit. In this essential role, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by coordinating calendars, supporting clinical managers, and providing key administrative support. What’s Available:
1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours, typically between 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (varies based on department needs)
Department: Pediatrics
Location: On‑site, La Crosse and Onalaska locations
What you will do:
Provide LOVE + MEDICINE by delivering exceptional first and last impressions for patients and families
Partner with providers, clinical staff, and leaders to support patient care and team success
Assist patients and coworkers by problem‑solving, answering questions, coordinating services, and responding via phone, email, and in person
Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations
What you need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
No experience required but clerical or office experience is a plus
Strong technology, customer service, and scheduling skills preferred
