The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture is seeking a reliable and motivated student who is eligible for the Work Study Program to serve as an Office Assistant A. The position supports end‑of‑term studio turnover and preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Clearing, cleaning and reorganizing individual workstations.

  • Removing leftover materials and disposing of waste appropriately.

  • Organizing shared tools and equipment.

  • Assisting with the storage or redistribution of reusable materials.

  • Preparing studio spaces for the upcoming term.

  • Heling with support spaces in the basement (B04, B01, photography lab) , and thee first floor e.g. preparing the Exhibition room painting this summer.

Qualifications:

  • Eligible to the Work Study Program

  • Preference will be given to students enrolled in Architecture or a related field.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sorting, organizing, and moving materials.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
