The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for providing onsite professional occupational health nursing services to support the safety and wellbeing of team members at our Marshall, Missouri manufacturing facility. You will work closely with the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support workplace health initiatives, injury management, regulatory compliance, and employee well-being. Serving as a key resource for first aid, incident response, and health-related programs within the facility.
A Taste of your Responsibilities
- Provide onsite medical care for work-related injuries and illnesses, including first aid, evaluation, and follow-up care.
- Assess, triage, and manage employee health concerns in accordance with established medical protocols and company policies.
- Coordinate injury management, including return-to-work processes, follow-up care, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with applicable privacy and recordkeeping requirements.
- Partner with the EHS Manager to support workplace safety initiatives and health-related programs.
- Partner with Production, HR, and leadership to support incident investigations, return-to-work/modified duty processes, and occupational health audits/inspections.
- Conduct daily plant walk‑throughs to support compliance with modified or restricted duty requirements.
- Monitor and manage occupational health programs such as medical surveillance, hearing conservation, DOT Compliance, and respiratory protection.
- Support drug and alcohol testing programs in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Educate employees on health, wellness, injury prevention, and safe work practices.
- Maintain and manage first aid supplies, medical equipment, and treatment areas.
- Coordinate with external medical providers, clinics, and emergency responders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health regulations and company standards.
- Order and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hard hats, hand protection, hearing protection, etc.
- Maintaining facility safety benefit programs including the safety footwear and prescription safety eyewear programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by EHS Manager and/or Occupational Health Team Leader.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping and workplace injury reporting.
- Experience coordinating return-to-work or modified duty programs.
Required Computer and Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to enter, retrieve, and maintain information in electronic systems.
- Ability to learn and utilize internal occupational health and safety software systems.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Work is performed in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Some areas of the facility are wet and cold, including refrigerated and freezer areas.
- Noise levels in production areas may be high and require hearing protection.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and respond to medical situations throughout the facility.
- Occasional lifting or movement of medical supplies and equipment.

Compensation
Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
