Job Description
Location: FSPS/Central Office
Salary: up to $80,236.00, based on education and experience
Full Time /Part Time: Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Primary Hours: 8-5
Position Description:
This position functions under the direct supervision of the Administrative Program Manager, Perinatal & Reproductive Health (PRH) Division. Responsibilities for this position include assisting the Program Manager with day-to-day oversight and administration of staff activities related to PRH grants, grant required quality improvement monitoring, communication with county staff on compliance with grant requirements, assisting team leads with program review/site visit details, taking the lead on site visits, follow-up on site visit requirements, leading staff meetings related to program reviews and other grant required activities.
Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Review materials for clinical accuracy for the State Level Information & Education Committee
Assist with review of quarterly fee schedules for OSDH and contractors
Assist with coordinating Comprehensive Program Reviews
Participate as a site visit team member/team lead for administrative review and/or clinical review and chart audits
Assess feedback from county staff after site visits and identify opportunities for clinical improvement
Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and clinical services in the FP and maternity programs and develop QA/QI projects to improve quality and efficiency
Serve as subject matter expert for Nursing Service on clinical quality improvement project and quarterly chart audits related to family planning and maternity services
Assist Nurse Manager with policy and procedure manual revisions/updates to maintain compliance with grant requirements and state laws/requirements
Participate in development of federal grant applications as requested
Participate in program evaluation to include analysis of problems and needed services
Serve as subject matter expert on interpretation and application of agency and programmatic rules and policies
Assist with case abstraction for MMRC Committee if needed
Assist contractors with clinical questions and activities related to grant priorities, including serving as liaison with hospitals when indicated/contract monitoring to include approving invoices.
Assist with electronic health record questions/issues related to PRH programs and ensuring compliance with grant funding and evidence based clinical practice.
Collaborate with FSPS training coordinator to facilitate grant required training for all staff statewide providing direct health services
Update and maintain PRH web pages and SharePoint site
Being present in the office is an essential function of this job

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and three years of professional nursing experience.
Applicants must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position and possess a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on quality improvement projects and/or grant compliance monitoring.

Ability is required to administer programs and supervise personnel; to maintain effective working relationships with others; and to exercise good judgment in the solution of problems. Ability is required to speak to the public; to organize staff/partners and direct groups.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employees are required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Employees must be willing to complete all job-related travel associated with this position.
