Essential Responsibilities:
· Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing
communications on the Chancellor's behalf.
· Managing the Chancellor's calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive
matters.
· Serves as first point of contact in the Chancellor’s Suite and filters traffic.
· Serves as Regional Board of Trustees liaison. Prepare agendas, transcribe minutes of meetings, coordinate
events, maintain contact information, and actively communicate with group.
· Organizes special events.
· Maintains departmental budget, orders supplies, processes reimbursements, and maintains files.
· Schedules and oversees use of board room.
· Coordinates campus wide engagement with community stakeholders.
· Coordinates facilitation and process improvement projects for the campus.
· Coordinates facilitation projects with external stakeholders.
· Handles details of highly confidential and critical information.
· Independently manages tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines; screens and prioritizes
communications from external and internal sources; organizes and maintains administrative processes.
· Maintains a professional work environment and serves as principle contact with college and external
constituents from local, state and national agencies, councils, and other organizations.
· Completes assigned special projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
Other Responsibilities:
· Coordinates regional speaking opportunities for reporting to System’s Office.
· Supports Grants Process.
· Assist Marketing and other departments on projects that need to come from the Chancellor’s Office.
· Mailings and scanning documents for permanent records.
Hiring Range:
This role is budgeted between $45,000 and $55,000 per year.
Work Hours:
Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Associate degree in Administrative Office Technology or related field.
· Minimum five years of administrative experience for executives. · Experience in facilitation of meetings, events, and schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Office management and supervisory experience preferred.
· Microsoft certifications a plus.
· Five to seven years of administrative experience in higher education or related field.
