Nuclear Medicine / PET CT Technologist

Full Time,Days

Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Provides patient care throughout the exam process while maintaining radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance. Serves neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures

• Ensure image quality and accurate documentation in EHR and PACS

• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow ALARA principles

• Perform quality control on equipment and maintain regulatory records

• Monitor patients during exams and perform venipuncture as needed

• Assist radiologists and authorized providers during procedures

Requirements

• Associate degree required

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program

• Less than one year experience required

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required

• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license required

• Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required

• BLS required within 30 days of hire
