Summary
Job Description:
Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Provides patient care throughout the exam process while maintaining radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance. Serves neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
Ensure image quality and accurate documentation in EHR and PACS
Maintain radiation safety standards and follow ALARA principles
Perform quality control on equipment and maintain regulatory records
Monitor patients during exams and perform venipuncture as needed
Assist radiologists and authorized providers during procedures
Associate degree required
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Less than one year experience required
ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license required
Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required
BLS required within 30 days of hire
