As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a new and exciting opening for an NPI Supervisor to be responsible for the Tactical decision making and daily running of our NPI (New Product Introduction) department at WASP in a customer focused manner that will ensure that all company targets are met.

What you will do:

  • Manage and plan the NPI team to provide support to all production activities of new and existing products as well as providing updates as required.

  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth introduction of products throughout their lifecycle. Acting as an interface between design and production.

  • Manage the NPI production schedules in conjunction with Engineering and Programme management timelines.

  • Analysing and preparing documents needed for production, completing status reports for production progress.

  • Carry out daily start up meetings and run reports to ensure alignment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar production environment – small batch volume, medium value but high in product mix.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and instructions is essential.
  • Good understanding of AS9100D standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering techniques including IPC Soldering & static sensitive devices etc.
  • Good understanding if Microsoft Office to include Office, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal.
  • Team Player.

  • 39 Hours per week, 07:30 to 16:30 Monday-Thursday and 07:30 to 12:30 on Friday.
