Position Overview

The NPI Lead  is responsible for manage the multidisciplinary teams in the plant to ensure the successful and flawless implementation of the process for new launches, and develop for them a standard work that guarantees: a) The safety of our employees, b) The quality of our products, c) The high efficiency of our processes and d) A productive capacity that allows us to complete our deliverables on time. He is also responsible for working together with the Head Launch Engineering at New Launch and guiding the Supplier Chain Team in learning of the new processes.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development of a timeline for the implementation of the process and Deliverables/key milestones of the project and ensure compliance on time and within the budget.
  • Coordinate the new process development and efficiency during the Launch and 30 days after the SOP [Start of Production].
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of PFMEAs for each of the new processes and support the multidisciplinary teams in order to prevent cost of poor quality.
  • Support the Launch Lead and Engineering Site Lead to ensure a proper budget for each Launch/Project and utilization (expenses and capex).
  • Lead with multifunctional teams a flawless ramp up of the process for the launch/project until it is handed over to Operations after LV2.
  • Manage and track all the Process Engineering open items for launches/projects and keeps communicated to the Launch Lead, Operation Director and Engineering Site Lead of any potential risk.
  • Coordinate the ECN implementation, on time and within the budget for new Launches during Launch.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Who you are

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 yrs of experience in projects
  • At least 3 yrs of experience in process or manufacturing areas
  • At least 3 yrs of experience as a Leader in the manufacturing industry
  • Bilingual in English 90%
  • High Leadership skills.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High communication skills at all levels.
  • High Planning skills.
  • Highly Self-directed.
  • Results Oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Travel = +50% (Adjusted for coordination level)
